Foldout

What it is

Foldout is an operating system for the work you run. It brings prospect intelligence, a CRM, content production, distribution, revenue analytics and an AI assistant into one native macOS workspace, so a decision can move from insight to execution without a handoff.

It requires macOS 26 or later. It runs as a native app, not on Windows and not in a browser.

One database behind every domain

Signals and actions share one data model. A prospect found in one module is the same record the CRM, the content studio and the analytics read, so nothing is copied between tools and nothing drifts.

An AI that operates the app

The assistant does not sit beside the product, it drives it. It operates Foldout through the same tools the app exposes over the Model Context Protocol, and it can be called from any app on the desktop. Users can also teach it their own skills.

Playbooks run with approval gates: the AI prepares the work, and a person approves the steps that matter. Scheduled playbooks run while the Mac is on.

Your AI subscription, no second bill

Foldout runs on the AI subscription you already pay for, with no second metered key. Nine providers are supported: Claude, Codex, Gemini, Mistral, DeepSeek, Cursor, OpenCode, Command Code and Local AI. Foldout never bills for AI. Credentials are stored in the macOS Keychain.

Both sides of MCP

Foldout is an MCP server: Claude Code, claude.ai and any MCP client can drive it, locally or through a hosted connector with OAuth. It is also an MCP client: any MCP server can be added from Settings, with no code.

Stack

A native Swift and SwiftUI app with a Python FastAPI backend, backed by PostgreSQL. I designed and built the product end to end, from the data model and the MCP surface to the interface. Read more at foldout.so.
